Hi, Johnnie Lou, So glad you wrote me and the nice things you said..I had no clue who lucylou was, so very happy you told me!! No way you can be a great-grandmother. Remember all the good times when I lived in “the stone castle” a few doors down from you?? And we rode in our little cars..I am thrilled you are going to be my neighbor. Hi Daphne, so good to hear from you. I also have seen your mom often and always keep up with you and Candace through her. By the way, your “hair do” always looked great to me. I always admired your beauty and most of all how sweet and genuine you were. Hope you do get to come in April, but as a Grandmother( and a great-grandmother) I understand if you have to miss!! Daphne, you are sooo right that I was a “cute fellow”. I couldn’t have said it any better myself. Hall, on the other hand, has some twisted recollection otherwise. Over the past 40 years the US Post Office has, on 3 occasions, awarded me the “Best Looking Mug Shot” Award for those “Wanted Posters” plastered on therir bulletin boards ….. nothin’ wrong with that!!!! =}

My wife and i retired after 42 years with forsyth county government.
after the loss of both my parents and my youngest son (ross) 3years ago i have finaly gotten back to some what normal but it changed my life.

When I just heard the music, (Memories) you have put to the website, I cried…Wow, you know how to hit the soul. The words do just that…bring back so many good memories. Must go get a tissue!!!

Such fun to look through the yearbook, since mine is in storage. Hope to get to reunion, but looks doubtful as our daughter and daughter-in-law are both expecting little girls on the 24th of April and 10th of May. Have a great time and think of me.
