Hey Danny, I know what you mean about the cinders. I guess we all have scares on our knees and elbows where in football practice the play would run out of bounds and onto the track

Danny,
One of my memories of the year we won the state championship was of you in the game against Wadesboro. John Anderson got hurt and you came in the game and had a terrific day running the ball.
Johnny Charles gave me the game film converted to DVD from the Mt. Airy and Wadesboro playoff games. I had several copies made and I would be glad to send you a copy.
Give me your mailing address.

Thanks Deane but I have no illusion of being anywhere near John Anderson in football. I have a memory about the Wadesboro game too. Didn’t they start off on offense by lining the center up on the end of the line? I seem to remember you and Richard knocked at least two of their quarterbacks out of the game before they switched back to a normal line.

Hey Danny, Can you still run a 2:01 800? Bob Sloop

I don’t know if you’ll be able to see this. I can’t log on to the site so I just typed my information in to the boxes. I need to respond to the conversation we had last night.

I can see what I typed so I assume you can too. You were right about my time. I was disqualified for changing lanes too soon when I broke 2:00 so I guess it doesn’t count. On the tracks I usually ran you didn’t have to worry about lanes, just falling down. A cinder track will tear you up. It’s good to hear from you and look forward to seeing you and Sheila.
